To ensure our visitors can make the most of the 2019 Show, we have compiled a large list of frequently asked questions and answers.


Q: When is the show?

The Big One show date at the NAEC Stoneleigh is the 13th and 14th April 2019. Tickets are now on sale.

Q: What are the show opening hours?

Advance Ticket holders can enter the event at 9am on both days. Tickets on the door are sold from 9:30am. The event closes at 5pm Saturday, 4:30pm Sunday.

From London and M40

Leave the M40 at Junction 15 and join the A46 dual carriageway towards Coventry.

Follow signs for National Agricultural Centre or NAC Stoneleigh Park until you pick up the yellow signs for the event signs for Stoneleigh Park. These signs will direct you to Stoneleigh Park Main Entrance on the B4113.

From the M6 or M69

Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 2 and join the A46 towards Warwick. Or at the conclusion of the M69, continue onto the A46 towards Warwick and the M40.

Follow signs for National Agricultural Centre or NAC Stoneleigh Park until you pick up the yellow signs for the event signs for Stoneleigh Park. These signs will direct you to Stoneleigh Park Main Entrance on the B4113.

From the Northbound M1

Leave the M1 at Junction 17, to join the M45 towards Coventry.

Stay on the M45 until you see signs for A45 Coventry (not A45 Daventry). Follow the A45 until you pick up signs for A46 Warwick.

Follow signs for National Agricultural Centre or NAC Stoneleigh Park until you pick up the yellow signs for the event signs for Stoneleigh Park. These signs will direct you to Stoneleigh Park Main Entrance on the B4113.

By Rail

Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick and Warwick Parkway rail stations are situated on the main London Marylebone-Birmingham whilst Coventry is a regular stop for the Virgin West Coast Mainline.

By Bus/Coach

Coventry bus station is 6 miles (10km) away from Stoneleigh Park.  Warwick bus station is 9 miles (14km) from Stoneleigh Park.

Stoneleigh Park is within 30 minutes’ drive of Birmingham International Airport.

Q: When will the tickets and VIP tickets go on sale?

 Tickets are on sale now. VIP tickets are limited. Sign up to the newsletter to get all the latest ticket news.

Q: Why is there a transaction fee when buying tickets?

This is a standard practice when using SEE Tickets who are our ticket provider. The transaction fee is £1.50 for E-ticket (Print-at-home) or £2.50 for Standard Delivery. Please note that this fee is per transaction and not per ticket. This fee covers staff to come to the venue to scan your tickets, processing the orders, transaction bank charges and delivery charges on the standard delivery option. Using See Tickets means that we can offer ticket sales and customer service, 7 days a week for 24 hours a day.

Q: Is car parking free? 

Yes and there is an area for our VIP ticket holders. These will all be clearly signed posted as you enter the showground.

Q: Is there disabled access?

Yes there is. Please show your blue badge on arrival to the showground to gain access to this designated area.

Q: Concession Tickets

Concession tickets are only available for our visitors who are over 65's, ages 12 to 15 years and students. Proof will be required. Disabled visitors are eligible to access a carer ticket for free entry, when purchasing a standard adult advance ticket.

Q: Can a disabled carer get in the show for free?

The Big One welcomes visits from people with disabilities to the event along with their assistance dogs and we take every precaution to ensure maximum safety and enjoyment for everyone. A person will be eligible for complimentary access to the show if they are accompanying a registered disabled person that has one of the following proofs of entitlement and they have an application form filled in:

1.     Letter from consultant/doctor detailing the name of the person, the condition and why they are eligible and in need of a carer.

2.     Letter/notice of entitlement for Personal Independent Payment (PIP)

3.     Copy/proof of DLA entitlement

4.     Letter/proof of Dept of Working Pension (DWP)

Any of these proofs of entitlement will need to be supported by photographic ID.

Q: Are children free?

Yes if the child is under 12 years at the time of the event and is accompanied by a paying adult. Children aged 12-15 will be able to purchase at the concessionary ticket price.

Q: Are there crèche facilities?

There are not.

Q: What is the Medical/First Aid procedure?

Please advise an onsite steward of any incident.

Q: Are dogs allowed?

No, unless it is a assistance dog.

Q: Is there a cash machine on site?

Yes there is a cash machine.

Q: Can I take pictures/video at the event?

Photos are fine and we'd be delighted to receive them too! We have our own team creating video, so please ask for permission if you have a video request. Share photos with TBO on our Facebook page, Twitter or YouTube.

Q: Free magazine offer on print at home tickets

Tickets bought in advance of the show will have a special offer delivered on the print at home tickets. This offer is to claim a free copy of Angling Times, Sea Angler or Improve Your Coarse Fishing worth up to £3.80. This magazine will be the latest new magazine delivered via post.
